ThemeMedic privacy policy

ThemeMedic (“the App”) is operated by MB „Liūto media" (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Lithuania. This policy explains what the App accesses when you install it on your Shopify store, how that information is used, and how it is deleted.

ThemeMedic does not process customer personal data. It reads and edits theme files only. It never accesses orders, customers, products or any personal information about your shoppers.

What we access

An email address you enter for monitoring	Only to send you the weekly alert if new clutter appears

How the information is used

To detect leftover code and explain each finding to you.
To remove selected code when you explicitly confirm a cleanup.
To create and restore theme backups.
To send monitoring alerts, if you turn them on.

We never use your theme code for any other purpose, do not share it, and do not use it to train models.

We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties. Theme content stays on our own server and is never sent to external services.

Storage and security

Data is stored on our own server in the EU. Databases are held on an encrypted volume (LUKS2, AES-256), all traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS, and backups are encrypted before storage. Server access is limited to the developer and uses SSH key authentication.

Retention and deletion

Scan results and backups are kept only while the App is installed.
Uninstalling deletes everything — scan reports, backups, monitoring settings and stored theme files.
We honour Shopify's GDPR webhooks. Because ThemeMedic stores no customer personal data, a customer redaction request has nothing to delete; a shop redaction request deletes all data for the store.
You can request deletion at any time by writing to the address below.
